What would be my team?

The team we are recruiting for is the XBRL product team. The objectives of this team are to maintain and evolve the XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) components found in our reporting solutions used by banks, insurances, listed companies, supervisory authorities such as the Banque de France, national regulators in Europe, the European Central Bank, etc. XBRL is a technological language used to facilitate and standardize the exchange of financial data between the declarants of these reports and the authorities that receive them.

This team, which currently consists of a Product Manager and a Business Analyst, creates dictionaries, tables and controls in connection with banking and insurance regulations.

The "Reporting Suite Product" team collaborates with the "Regulatory Watch" department, which studies the regulations and translates them into content for our applications. The Reporting Suite Product team uses their specifications to create the content for our customers.

The Reporting Suite Product team ensures that the content works properly in the application.

In the case of new features, the team specifies its requirements and gives them to the development team.

What are the main missions?

You will thus be led́ to take charge of the following activities:

  • XBRL parameterization of regulatory models (SURFI, COREP, FINREP, SOLVENCY II, etc...)
  • Roadmap and acceptance of new application versions
  • Participation in the analysis and writing of requirements
  • Development of test procedures for new features and non-regression tests
  • Participation in the development of documentation and release notes
  • Maintenance and training in an international context

Why are we recruiting for this position?

We are working on major evolutions of our solutions using XBRL. In addition, our solutions are based on regulatory standards that are ever more numerous and evolving. This generates more work, so we need to recruit an additional person in the department.

What skills are used and needed for this position?

A higher education in computer science with knowledge of databases to be able to make queries and tests. You master Excel because we use it daily to collect data, sort them, exploit them, etc. You master professional English because we regularly exchange with English-speaking people. If you are familiar with testing and certain testing or automation tools, this is clearly a plus. If you are not familiar with regulatory reporting, we will train you at the same time as we train you on the software.

Onboarding and training

Prior to your arrival, a training program is defined and planned. Everything is taken care of so that you can evolve with serenity the first days: training with the IT department, HR welcome, software training, business training, working in pairs, etc. Regular meetings are set up to monitor you throughout your trial period.

What is the recruitment process?

If your application is selected, you will have :

  • An interview with a recruiter (by phone or video): understanding your background, your motivation, your assets for the position and your areas for improvement, presentation of the company and the position. If the exchange is conclusive, we move on to the next step.
  • An interview with the Hiring Manager (preferably face-to-face): detailed presentation of the position and daily tasks, evaluation of your skills for the position, fit with the manager, technical test (Excel).
  • An interview with a member of the management committee (optional): understanding and sharing of the company's challenges and strategic vision.
